Updating Apps? Or are you asking about iOS? If you are asking about iOS, iPhone 6 cannot update past iOS 12.4.x. If Apps are not updating, see this link for help --> If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or other Apple device - Apple Support

Which update?

Do note the iPhone 6 can not be upgraded beyond iOS 12.4.3.
