Cursor Keeps Disappearing

I have a mac pro and I recently downloaded the new ios Catalina software update onto it. Yesterday when I opened the spotify application my cursor disappeared, and after a couple minutes of random clicking around and fiddling it finally became visible again. It then repeatedly happened for the next couple of hours while I was doing work on my mac. Its really annoying and im not sure what I should do about it and if there is something quite wrong with my mac. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
