I want to take photos with my iPhone and have them also show up on my iMac Photos

when I took photos with my iPhone SE, they also showed up on my IMac Photos. I jjust switched to an iPhone 11 and it’s not happening. Is there a setting I need to change? How can I make it work?

Make sure you have the My Photo Stream enabled on you're iPhone 11 or the iCloud Photo Library is that is what you have enabled on your iMac.
