When does OS support (updates) end for the Macbook pro 15 inch made in 2014?

I'm seriously considering buying a Macbook pro 15 inch model made in 2014 from someone. I realize it can get Catalina, but since it was made in 2014, I'm curious when it will stop receiving OS updates (end of life? End of support?).

Does anyone know?

I don't want to buy it if it won't continue to receive updates beyond a

couple of years. Otherwise, I'll save up some more and possibly buy the

16" model later.

I haven't seen Apple announce in advance what future upgrades will support but High Sierra (10.13) would install on MacBook Pros of mid 2010 and later and Mojave (10.14) and Catalina (10.15) would do so on 2012 and later models so the past may give you some idea.
