IPhone hotspot will not connect to kindle fire 8 since Apple updates

Thanks for the reply. This is a good reason for me to never buy Apple products again. The last set of updates messed up a lot of things for a lot of people. They will see the negative impact soon enough should they not fix these issues.

Did that several times. Even did a factory reset on the fire. This is happening for several iPhone users and trying to connect to the amazon fire. And all after the updates past 12.1.1. I also periodically have issues connecting my laptop. This is why I will never buy Apple again, too much control on their part to little on mine. Too many issues that no one can fix unless they are Apple experts.
