iPad stuck in headphones mode

I have noticed an issue with the iPad speakers which don't function in fact it shows the headphones icon.

I now have this issue with iOS 13 and I dont remember having it with iOS 12.

My AirPods work just fine and when I connect a headphone jack Siri is activated and if I quit her, sound is reproduced as it should.

Also after installing iOS 13 I have found out that I could not leave my iPad doing nothing for a day because even that would cause it to discharge the battery in a matter of hours.

Are there any advices I should follow?
