apple tv using hdmi to rca cable

tried connecting Apple TV using "HDMI to RCA Cable, Gotd HDMI to 5 RCA Male Audio Video Component Convert Cable For HDTV TV BOX 1080P DVD." i was told i need a converter. please advice on what i need exactly. here is link for cable...

Apple TV will need an HDMI connection to the TV. TVs without HDMI are not compatible. The RCA video connectors are not capable of dealing with HDCP encryption of the video signal, as used for (nearly) all commercially available content.


Apple TV with a separate HDMI audio extractor can send a separate audio signal to audio equipment without HDMI. Then you could use Toslink or RCA on your receiver.

the TV has HDMI, but the ports are blown. i'm currently using a HDMI to RCA, Wenter 1080P HDMI to AV Converter / 3RCA CVBs Composite Video Audio Converter Adapter Supporting PAL/NTSC...and it works, but sometimes the video breaks up and the picture quality is not great. if that converter works, i would imagine that there is a converter that would work for the 5-rca cable...and the video quality would be better. here is link for converter i am currently using...
