Is someone trying to hack into my Apple account?

What should I do if I received a message saying, "your apple ID and phone number are now being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new iPad". What should I do about this? Should I change my apple ID?

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. If you find one, change your password.
