annoying pop ups of old apple account

I just updated my iphone and I'm getting every second an annoying pop up asking me to supply a password for an account I haven't used in 15 years.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

Apple ID sign-in I keep getting a message popping up on my iPhone screen, “Enter your Apple ID in Settings”. It comes up really often. I ignore it, but it keeps popping up. I thought perhaps some 3rd party was trying to get me to log in, so I didn’t. I don’t wish to log into Apple. When I do, I’ll enter my ID and password. How do I stop it, short of actually logging in?

it is popping up because you have an app that is tied to that old account.

find it, delete it and reinstall with your new apple id.
