iPhone X freeze, crash or displays static glitches when recording video

For several months my iPhone X has been unable to record video. It can record for a few seconds but then either freeze, crash or display weird static glitches. I haven’t made a post about it before now as I was sure it was something that would be fixed. Does anyone else have this issue and/or know how to fix it? I’m on 13.2.3.
