Catalina on 2013 MacBook Pro?

Anyone have any insight in to whether I may notice a decrease in my MacBook's (2.4 GHz Intel Core i5/4GB RAM) performance after installing Catalina? Mojave is operating perfectly and I'm skeptical about pressing my luck understanding that my computer is starting to get up there in age.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

If you are currently running 10.14.6 and are happy with the performance with your limited 4GB of RAM,

then you should notice no difference compared to 10.15.1

System requirements macOS 10.15 Catalina

macOS Catalina will run on all Macintosh computers that supported Mojave:[1]

MacBook: Early 2015 or newer

MacBook Air: Mid 2012 or newer

MacBook Pro: Mid 2012 or newer

Mac Mini: Late 2012 or newer

iMac: Late 2012 or newer

iMac Pro

Mac Pro: Late 2013 or newer; Mid 2010 or Mid 2012 if upgraded with a recommended Metal-capable GPU
