Problem with using new Burst Mode. Is there a way to limit QuickTake to one volume button?

Is there a way to limit QuickTake to one volume button? Not being able to use burst mode with volume button is a real detriment to action photography.

It would be nice to have a custom function as now the burst mode is not a convenient and fast method to quickly get shot. Often burst mode is used with action photography whether sports, or kids and pets playing. The new interface is fantastic for quick video but I am finding the new burst mode quite cumbersome.

I often use the volume buttons when panning for action photos.
