Macbook pro 16 backlight bleed, is it normal?

So I just received my Macbook pro 16 inch today (upgrading from 2012 rmbp btw). It is absolutely stunning. However, as I am doing screen tests, I notice there are backlight bleeds (on the upper left corner). Is it normal? I heard that this is common for LCD panels, but does your macbook pro 16 inch have the same issue? Second of all, since I bought it from Adorama without tax, would it cost tax to ask for a exchange from local apple store, or am I better off exchanging through Adorama. Thanks!

It seems to me, your MacBook Pro has backlight issue. You should contact apple support or make Genius Bar reservation or take your MacBook Pro to Apple authorized service provider to check it up before 1 year limited warrant is expired.

My friend i am one of the most unlucky person about backlight bleeding and believe me this is a lottery that getting a screen with no backlight. My 2017 mbp, my 2019 15” mbp and 16” mbp all had backlight bleed in different levels. This is a characteristic of led technology
