I didn't finish setup. How do I get back to it?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you did not finish setting up your iPhone, and you'd like to know how to get back to that screen. I would be happy to help provide steps to do so.

If you're seeing the Home screen of your iPhone instead of the Setup Assistant, there's a few ways to proceed from here. The first of which would be to erase the iPhone back to factory defaults, then set it up again. If you have an iTunes or iCloud backup made to restore your data from, you would need to restore from the backup again during this process. It would erase any new data saved to the iPhone since the backup was made:

• How to erase your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
• Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

The next option would be to sign in to Apple services with your Apple ID, then turn on iCloud features to sync data instead of erasing the iPhone and starting over:

• Sign in with your Apple ID
• Turn iCloud apps on or off
