I have had my I pad for 2 days !!
not been dropped not even left the house I’ve downloaded a few apps and when I was using it today the screen went black and a red line appeard I then tries a reset with the home button and power button now all I get is a screen full of red pixels, so confused all I can assume is a software issue, any help would be appreciated

I suggest that you reach out to Apple for assistance.
Here are the terms for online purchases from that store.
There is no mention that they are an authorized Apple reseller, so you are most likely on your own. I would contact them immediately and detail the problem. Do not wait or they might have an excuse.
And, although that page mentions there is a manufacturer's warranty, I would ask them if they registered the product for you with Apple for the warranty. Or, can you find it here with the correct info:
