I have tried at least a dozen times but it keeps going back to the add account screen. I can access my Yahoo account on my computer and via the Yahoo Mail app, but I really need it back on ios mail with all my other email accounts.

The same thing is happening to me as amkingcpa17. I have tried to restart my phone a number of times, I updated to the latest IOS. I tried a number of times to add Yahoo but it also goes back to the add screen. I also tried adding this manually using IMAP but that also does not work.
Seeing the exact same thing on my new iPad7 running iPadOS 13.3 just purchased today. I added my iCloud and Gmail accounts without issues. The Yahoo account fails to add and drops back to the Add Account screen with no error or notification just like the users above. Other reports on other threads too. Something is definitely amiss here and I suspect it’s Yahoo.
Deleted Yahoo from ios mail and cannot add it back
