I installed the new Catalina and now my Epson Scanner app won't work. Cannot find any information from Epson on what I can do to update the scanner software. I'm not too good at this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Obviously, you should check Epson.com. Their scan software isn't updated for Catalina with some scanners. Try using Image Capture in your applications folder to scan, make sure printer is turned on. This software is a bit anemic compared to Epson's software but a decent workaround.
first thing, give specifics on the version of Epson Scan you are using. I'd think if you were then its not going to work with Catalina. I'd think you need epson Scan 2 and that means a new scanner. Isn't progress wonderful!
