1st Gen Pencil battery level under iPad OS 13.2.3

Updated iPad Pro 12.9" to v.13.2.3 ... Pencil Battery level does not appear anywhere. I'm using the 1st Gen pencil (plug-in charge). It's paired, but nothing about it appears anywhere. The battery widget does not exist anymore, apparently. Help!

Hello,

If the Batteries widget is not added to your Today View section then you can add additional widgets by scrolling to the bottom of Today View > Edit.
