MacBook Pro 13 inch late 2011

Hi, currently i have MacBook Pro 13 inch, late 2011 with OSX 10.9.5 ( Processor 2.4 GHZ, Intel core i5) Memory 4 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3.

I am unable to upgrade latest OS as OSX 10.9.5 doesn't supporting newer apps. While updating software no other option are visible.

How can i upgrade OSX 10.9.5 to a newer version, and which OS?

You can upgrade to High Sierra which is available at following site.

It can get kind of tricky. You might need to update to El Capitan (10.11) first before updating to High Sierra.
