how do I get rid of google chrome?

drag the google application to the trash
if you want to remove the other components go to the Go menu at the top of the finder menu bar
select Go to Folder...
type
~/Library/Preferences
click the go button.
remove these files

drag the google application in the applications folder to the trash
do not delete the applications folder!
I cannot seem to get chrome closed. It won't delete unless it is closed.
