CCC5 can make a recovery disk, can't find sys reqs...

If that isn't an option you have to use Apple's installer...


See if you can upgrade to 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, or 10.15, see sys requirements...

I bought a refurbished iMac 2015 from Amazon, did the command ‘R’ bit with my backup drive plugged in and restored the iMac with my info which also erased the data before restoring. It went fine (the operating system was El Capitan) and when I tried to upgrade to the newest Mac OS a message appeared that said “recovery disk not found” and it would not upgrade.
