Can't send text messages from macbook air, only recieve

Hi,

i recently was unable to send text from my macbook air. I was able to do it up until this morning and now ive tried everything possible without contacting support. I tried reseting my macbook, ive tried signing out of icloud. I also checked and made sure my phone is connected through the same number and allowing my mac to accept and send messages. Lastly, i changed wifi connection and that still didnt work. Please help.
