Airpods pro noise cancellation stopped working

The active noise cancellation suddenly stopped working. I tried resetting the Airpods but the noise cancellation is not getting active.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand you are experiencing an issue with Noice Cancelation on your AirPods Pro. I am happy to help.


When you are going to adjust the Noice Control settings on your AirPods Pro following these steps: AirPods Pro Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode - Apple Support, is the issue that you are unable to tap Noice Cancelation or Transparency options? Or, does the option select successfully, however, you feel the external noises are not being canceled out?


If the issue is that the noise does not seem to be canceling out when the setting is active, please make sure you have the best ear tip size in use, and run an Ear Tip Fit Test, which will help ensure you experience better noise cancelation: Choose your AirPods Pro ear tips and use the Ear Tip Fit Test - Apple Support.


If the issue is that you are unable to select other options other than Off, resetting your AirPods was a good step to take: Reset your AirPods - Apple Support. Be sure to also restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, and make sure your iOS is fully up to date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

becky_s22, I respect that you are a Community Specialist but this is a large problem.

There is already a large thread about this. Please check this thread with over 20,000 views, 1,800 people confirmed with this problem, etc.
