Bootcamp Wifi Extremely Slow - 2019 MacBook Pro 16" - Can't solve

I've been having an issue in Bootcamp in that wifi speeds connected to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz networks are excruciatingly slow.

I have 1GBps service and not getting anything remotely in the universe when connected via wifi through Bootcamp. In Mac OS - all is well.

I have done all that was suggested in my original post and other research I have gleaned from others having similar issues with the 2019 MacBook Pro 16", but none worked. I have reinstalled Windows three times and have attempted to disable/uninstall the network card in Windows and install original Bootcamp drivers but to no avail. Disabled AX on my router. Same issue. Can't rollback driver either.

I am attaching the following screenshots in hopes this can provide any new suggestions.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Isengard? Mordor? Do I need a Palantir now. 😜

Your WiFi card has the same PID/VID as a 2018/2019 13-in MBP. The version/FWID is different.

As a test,

  • Create a Windows System Restore point
  • Use Brigadier (https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier) to download the BC driver package for a 2019 13-in MBP (Model Identifier: MacBookPro15,4) using the '-m' qualifier
  • Try to install the Broadcom driver and test
  • If it does not work, rollback to the Restore point

This is the work around for the issue with 7.77.x.x drivers. For the 100.x/101.x drivers, there is no fall-back driver. You can re-install the original BC driver and test.

I have not played around with the Orbi(s) to know how they perform. macOS has a significantly better driver than the Windows-on-Mac side.

I've read the posts and I had similar problems. My router is an Orbi RBR50 with satellite RBS50. Download 25mb, Upload 3mb as measured from modem. Macbookpro 2014 configured dual boot. I started experiencing VERY slow speeds at the machine of 300k down wireless but 15m down ethernet. Also, another machine iMac 2019 wireless down about 16mb down no issue. I've got other stuff on the system so these numbers generally are expected. But, I could not figure out the issue for the dual boot machine. If I booted in Catalina then normal download but when I boot in Windows 10 then awful. I went to the driver and rolled back to 4/20/2018 7.35.118.83, rebooted and everything was ok.

You might just need to have a Palantir handy to help with this.

I tried to install the drivers pulled from Brigadier for that model (15,4) and it attempted to install version 100.10.535.3 (6/16/2019) but I am getting the error (Code 10) that the device cannot start.

Is there anything I can do before going back to my restore point?

Not quickly. That’s ok.

I am resigned to the fact that this issue persists until either a new driver resolved something in the indefinite future or the gremlins decide to leave.

Thanks for the consultation either way.

Ill monitor the other discussions for the dozens that seem to have somewhat similar problems in hopes of confirming when a more defined encompassing solution/remedy is made available.
