How do I get my pictures from my iCloud(on my phone) to my laptop?

I am trying to find my pictures taken on my phone on my laptop through iCloud, but I can't seem to find them?

If it's an Apple laptop, you should be able to see your photos in the Photos app in the dock, or at www.icloud.com and the latter also applies to a non-Apple laptop as well
