How do I set up folders to move mail to on Mini Mac?

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

If your goal is to create mail folders that reside on your Mac, then you will need to create them under the "On My Mac" category in the Mail app. You can then copy or move emails from your email account folders to any folder you create under this category.

Hello Tesserax,

thanks for the info. How do I create it. When I create a new mail box, it has a gear beside it and I cannot put anything in it.

This worked once I reread what you said. I was trying to make the folder under the Smart Mailbox which caused my isuue.
