Cannot find the airpod section in the setting application to get the serial number

Well, you can find your serial number on various ways. You will find it at the sticker at the front of the box. If you bought it somewhere else (not in an Apple Store or another “legit” store) and doesn’t have the original packaging, you can find the serial number inside the Charging Case. Or even under the AirPods themselves.
Finally you can (probably one of the easiest way, since the letters inside the case and under the AirPods are very small) find the serial number in the Settings application on you iPhone. Go to General - About and scroll all the way down till you see your AirPods. Press the name and a menu’s showing up, letting you easily view and copy your AirPods serial number.
For this method, remember to keep the AirPods nearby your phone with the case open. If that doesn’t work, make sure that your AirPods are connected with your phone and even put one in your ears.
