Podcast keeps stopping

The same thing is happening to me. It was working fine last night. Then, this morning, I tried turning off all of my apps and rebooting my phone but it still does it. Happens a lot when I switch between apps but also when I'm not doing anything but listening to podcasts.

Mine keeps stopping every 30 seconds and I have to keep pressing play. I’ve closed the app, restarted my phone but it keeps happening

I'm having this same issue too. All apps closed, restarted phone, etc. Nothing seems to help and its extremely frustrating. Sometimes it stops in 5 seconds, sometimes it lets me get a few mins in. Worked perfectly fine last night and prior to that. I did not update last night, that I'm aware of.

Same issue here. I am on IOS 12.4.1. In another thread it suggested putting phone in Airplane mode. After I did that, no problems. It may also work just to turn off wifi. (not a very viable solution, I realize, but if you're desperate...)

I turned off all of my apps, my watch too, then rebooted my phone then my watch it eventually started working after that. It didn't work right after, but soon after. Seems to be working good now.

Mine keeps stopping too bloody annoying when I’m trying to get my True Crime fix for the day. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Tried to reboot my phone but still doing it!!

i turned off WiFi and used cell data only, but did not work. Running iOS 13.2.3. In desperation I installed Castbox and it worked fine. Now I need to make an account and transfer my podcasts.
