i Am looking to buy my son an Apple Watch series 3 42mm but he wants the soft loop strap can I get this size?

Yes, 44mm bands will fit the 42mm Watch and 40mm bands will fit the 38mm

The band will fit wrists from 145mm to 220mm

What is the "soft loop strap"? Are you referring to the Sports Loop? If yes, you need to get the 44mm version, it will fit his Series 3.

Yes it’s the Nike sports loop. So even thou the watch is 42mm I get a 44mm??

strap do the straps fit any size wrist as they don’t give a size option.
