Java for macOS

I tried to run a program but it says; I need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime.

I have tried to install it on this link -Download Java for OS X 2017-001- but this time since I have newer version of it I am not able to install it.

OSX : 10.15.1 (Catalina)

No Java 6 code is compatible with Catalina, and that includes Java for OSX 2017-001. If that application is begging for Java 6 and refuses to use a more recent version from Oracle, then you are done with that app on Catalina.
