I have two issues.
- tried to customize my watch to put the date, i was at apple and did it but now is gone
- my watch isnt notifying me when I get a text

You can customize your watch faces by doing a firm press and release on the watch face, and you should see customize appear under it. Tap on that, and you can make changes to that individual watch face. You can also make changes in the Watch app on the iPhone.
Notifications on the Apple Watch depend on the status of the iPhone. If it is on and locked, you should receive notifications on the Watch. If the iPhone is unlocked, you will get notifications on the iPhone. Check your settings for notifications on the Watch app on the iPhone.
