I am trying to replace my left AirPod since I lost my old one. I am following the instructions but I can't get it to work. When I am trying to connect the AirPod it connects as a new bluetooth connection and not together as the right AirPod. I can get the left one to work separately and the right one to work separately but I can not get them to work at the same time. What do I do? Thank you!

Hopefully the left- and right-AirPods are the same generation. This is required. Hopefully you were careful to check this when you replaced the AirPod.
