Will my new iPad 2019 work with mini DP-VGA adapter through the lightning cable? Thanks.

With my iPad I am able to connect a Mini DisplayPort display using a series of adapters into iPad's Lightning Port.

iPad <-> Lightning <-> Lightning to HDMI <-> HDMI to DVI <-> DVI to DisplayPort <-> DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort <-> External Display

It should work however you will not be able to play copyright protected movies and it will display at a lower resolution.
