dislike how all my files copied over. can i turn this feature off.

i have a imac in the office and i dont like that all the folders etc copied over from imac copied to my new mac book.

what can i do.

it is the same apple id.

iMac 27", macOS 10.14

Turn of Desktop & Documents in iCloud Drive on one or both Macs.
