MacBook Air wireless compared to other MacBook products

Is there any evidence that a MacBook Air has a less efficient/smaller wireless antenna than other MacBook products and therefore has not as strong a signal? I work in an enterprise organisation and I keep seeing MacBook Air's with no reception where other devices have a stable connection. One such a location has a strong signal from three competing wireless access points, and the MacBook Air struggles to maintain a reliable connection.

Hey there Chronologie2,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you want to know if MacBook Air computers have a smaller Wi-Fi antenna than other Mac computers. I’ll be happy to help with this.

I compared the MacBook Air to a MacBook Pro and MacBook and the Wi-Fi looks to be the same. You can look at this here:

If you have a MacBook Air that has any issues connecting to Wi-Fi, the steps in this article can help:

Cheers.
