So since Mojave, each time I move an image or any files from my desktop to its proper folder I get this darn warning! Since I like to use my desktop for seeing and organising all my files, this new warning has become a major pain. Please can anybody tell me if its possible to stop this warning without stopping iCloud backing up my desktop?

Found how to stop that warning for moving files off the desktop.
Sweet, that's saved me so much time :)
Obviously the option box won't be selected, I did that one selection just for it to be easily visible.

Great! Thanks for this, Anthony! Like you, I use the desktop a lot, and the iCloud warnings have been annoying me every time I shift a file/folder! I´d completely overlooked the option in Finder Preferences to turn them off! Cheers, Ian.
