We recently stayed at a hotel and used their wifi with the assigned password. Since then we've noticed a couple of weird/unusual things. One was some of the preferences we use on a card game program changed without our participation. Another is that two different email programs have asked for us to log-in on the same day. Usually our computer does this behind the scenes.
The computer is a Macbook Pro running OS 10.13.6

Download the free version of...https://www.malwarebytes.com...then run it, if there is something it will find it.
To add a bit more: Sorry, I forgot to ask any question.... I'm wondering if there's some detection program that I can download or purchase that will inspect our computer and tell us if we have any problem. We did not download any sort of email attachment recently nor did we even receive any suspicious email. Just those odd things I spoke of.
