Calendars and photos

So I’m aware Apple doesn’t do the photo books or calendars. However I’m on Sierra and the option to create calendar is still there. If I make one will it send me to where it will order from or am I wasting time. What I read is this third party extension but that’s more high Sierra and above. Any help appreciated

You may want to save your finished calendar as a PDF file, then upload the PDF to a service, that can print Apple Print products from PDF, for example Mimeo or Presto Photos:
