I'm trying to buy the above mentioned Apple Watch. When I go to the German Apple site and configure my choice and want to pay it says it's not available in the Apple store for pick up. I've tried several Apple stores in Germany with the same result. I do get a list of pickup points, like a gas station. Is it not possible to buy Edition versions in the Apple Stores?

I would imagine their inventory of the Edition version is limited. Why don't you have it shipped to your home or place of business?
Sorry, forgot to mention essential information: I’m from the Netherlands, so there was no option of shipment to my home address. But okay, limited inventory, but why won’t they let me pick it up in an Apple store? They obviously can ship it to a pick up point so to change the address to an Apple store is a easily done. The chance of me buying something extra is also bigger in the Apple store.
