Maintain Macbook Air

Hi,

I bought my Macbook Air in 2015. I wanna maintain this one because sometimes I get some problems with it.

But not sure, I just need to bring mine to Apple store or I have to book an appointment first.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys soon.

Thanks.

What exactly do you mean with "maintain". There is no need to do anything specific except keep an eye on the battery to see that it is ok. The Genius Bar looks at and takes care of hardware problems, so unless you have a problem with something in particular, there is no need really to take it in.

So, do you have any particular problems? If so, why don't you post some details so we can see if we can help.

Chrome is a known resource hog; does this happen with a different browser? And what are the exact specs of your machine? You could download, run, and then post the results of an etrecheck report (available at the app store or from the developer) using the third little icon in the tool bar of the reply window. That gives a snapshot of what is going on and we can look for any obvious problems.
