Where is the best (and safest) place to download fonts from for my Mac? Need to be able to use with all Microsoft and adobe products. Thanks!

Calibri is included with Microsoft Office, if you have that. Can't remember if it's a font family copyrighted to MS or Monotype.
Microsoft has (or had) a page where anyone could legally download a bunch of the Office fonts, but I'd have to try and dig it up again.

A font is a font is a font. It doesn't matter where they come from.
As far as where to obtain them, the only thing to look out for (and there are LOTS of them) are sites that host the free downloading of fonts that are not free.
One source of good, and legally free fonts is Font Squirrel.
Before adding more fonts to your system, you might want to check whether Apple has not already provided what you need:
Thanks. Had done that but needed Calibri added to my Adobe and was concerned about downloading from any free site.
