I have iPhone XR locked to att Puerto Rico, I try to unlocking, Att says that iPhone is not locked to att, how can I get decision?

Where in Settings can I see if my carrier has unlocked my iPhone? Where in Settings can I see if my carrier has unlocked my iPhone? I’m traveling abroad and called them to unlock it so I can use it away from USA.

Only the carrier it's locked to can unlock it.

Apple can't unlock it for you.

You'll have to work with AT&T.
