Misconfigured from Software:

Have you installed any software recently? It seems the macOS may need to by reinstalled. Software could always make the display settings corrupted.

So...

Use an External Display:

In the mean time, connect this to an external display. See if you can access and view your data that way. If you have another display to use, such as a TV, try connecting it using a HTMI cable. Note: Use this adapter: Belkin USB-C to HDMI Adapter.

Reboot the Mac in Safe Mode:

To do so, hold down the shift key upon boot. Wait until the login menu comes up. See if you can log in. The intent of Safe Mode is so that all opens as it should, without any alternative preferences being set.

Check for Malware: Malicious Software:

If boot is successful, scan for and remove and Malware (malicious software) that makes your device(MacBook Pro) act in a mislead-manor. Download it Here: MalwareBytes for Mac. Then update it and run it.

Reset your SMC and Your NVRAM:

Changes occur, and sometimes, as a result, your Mac needs to reset itself. as a way to get back to its default operations. So, reset the above.

In addition to my above reply:

As a last resort, reinstall the macOS. If you are unfamiliar with all of this, take this MacBook in for service. Use either an AASP or Apple itself:

Reinstall the macOS:

You may need to reinstall the macOS. Nothing would be deleted; it's just that all of your operating system files would be relocated and reconfigured back to how they should be. So, perform either of the following:

Taking this In for Service:

  • AASP: (Apple Authorized Service Provider). Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller. Click: Service & Support > Enter your location information, and see if there is an AASP nearby. Contact an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix this.
  • Apple Store: Locate your nearest local Apple Store and take this in for a “Genius Bar Appointment". See what services the offer for a 2015 MacBook.
