My child changed their passcode

Can we get into our child’s phone that is on our family account if the child changed their password?

Hi

Sorry, there is no way to reset the passcode even if you have the device on the family account.

Here's the official documentation: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306

Also, here's the similar discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7201070

The only thing I can recommend, that is if you have an iCloud backup configured on that device, let it make a backup by connecting it to the wifi (if you're able to without unlocking the phone) and connecting it to the charger so phone will make data backup for you to not to lose anything. Then you can follow the restoration process and restore from backup afterwards.
