I recently needed to reset my password for my yahoo mail, and when I went to update it in my phone so all was correct... it wouldn't allow that change to happen. Now I can't get my yahoo mail though the mail app like I used to and I was forced to get the Yahoo mail app (which I don't want). What is the problem???? My phone is up to date and I've tried everything I can think of.

The problem is Yahoo's mail servers.
They have a nasty habit of getting out of sync with each other. There's not much you can do about it other than wait for them to sync up again.
I strongly advise you to switch to another email provider. Yahoo also has a history of security breaches. If you've had a Yahoo account for more than a year or two I can pretty much guarantee that it has been compromised.
