I am not the most tech savvy... I recently saw a new icon on my Mac. "ElementsCentral" and "PremiumFeild". Are these viruses? Is there software I can down load in order to get rid of this and check my computer for other issues? Something that can be downloaded from the App Store?

Neither name rings any bells with me. If you are concerned about malware, a program called MalwareBytes is a trusted shareware anti-malware program that has a free test period.
Run free malwarebytes for mac https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/
At least try searching it on the Mac and try deleting it, that’s the first step
