My text message notifications go away when my Iphone 11 pro is paired with my Ford Sync. This happens even if I don't read the message from Sync. It did not happen on my previous Iphone 7. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the response but unfortunately that is not the case. I get the notification on the Ford Sync but even if I don't check the notification on the Ford Sync, there is no notification on my iPhone. On my previous iPhone, I would still have the text notification on my phone.
