Did you try again?
An on going issue?
An old reliable TM backup or a new Drive?
ref: If you can't back up or restore your Mac using Time Machine ...
If you see "Time Machine has completed a new backup for you"
If you need to create a new backup from Mac—https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/if-you-need-to-create-a-new-backup-mh34042/10.14/mac/10.14
If that message reappears is likely the TM backup disk is operating in a state of failure and will continue to reappear with increasing frequency. That would be a good reason to replace it
