Bright vertical green line on screen

I have a bright vertical green line appear on the screen of my Apple iPhone XS Max. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. What do I do to clear it?

Try a forced restart of your XS:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support

If the issue still persists, it could be a screen problem, but we can't diagnose that issue remotely.

Have your device inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider. After checking it out, they'll give you all tthe available options:--> Apple – Location Selector
