Trying to update the watch but has been stuck on verifying for over 12 hours

Trying to update. It has been stuck on verifying for over 12 hours. How can I help move it along?

Now it says there is an in connecting and looking for an update. I rebooted the phone, too

Try a forced reset then try again;

To force reset your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.
